The Purchasers prepared Plans of the property and forwarded such Plans to the Director of Public Works.

The Vendor Ho Lap Pun (Ho Amei being dead as we have previously mentioned) then applied to the Purchasers to complete the purchase, and it was arranged that the Purchasers should pay a portion of the purchase money and the balance when the Crown Lease or Certificate of title had been issued.

The Purchasers accordingly paid to the Vendor Ho Lap Pun the sum of $3,500 on account of purchase money.

"With reference to your letters of the 12th ultimo and 1st and 11th instant regarding the Claim of your client Mr. Ho Lap Pun concerning certain land at Ngau Tau Kok, I am directed to inform you that the matter is receiving attention, and that the Crown Lease to the area in question will be issued in due
